The website

 

The only section of this website which asks for any personal data from visitors is the form contained on the Contact page. The information requested is the name and email address of the site user. This is to enable me to respond to users who make contact using the form. The users' website address and name are used to respond to contact initiated by the user. None of this data is kept and recorded by me.

Many other sites offer services such as a newsletter, which requires subscriptions, or requires people to sign up for email communications or feature a shop, enabling users to create an account, with their own password, and to enter payment details. My website offers no such services, and therefore presents me with no opportunity to collect any such data. While the website exists to promote the sale of my books, links are provided to sites where the titles can be bought from - such as Amazon and Lulu - the use of which is governed by their own terms and conditions, and privacy policies.

This website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides me with the online platform to promote my products. While it can be used to sell products and services, as previously stated, I do not do this through my site. I do provide links to other sites. Your data may be stored through Wix.com's storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. Wix.com enables me to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information and methods used to browse away from the page, for analytical purposes.
